Patchwork Puppy Project - The Fillers

Here are the patterns for the various fillers that make it possible to combine different size squares in one layout. Below each pattern are the requirements for each layout.

#4 Medium weight yarn

J/10 6.00mm crochet hook

Tapestry Needle (to sew ends)

Measuring Tape

Gauge: 2.5 st/inch , 3 row/inch

IMPORTANT:

If you have altered the number of rows of your squares to be square, then you will also need to alter the number of rows of some of these Fillers. It will be noted on affected patterns.

Measurements are given in length x width. Sizes are approximate.

	..	Filler A (8 x 4 inches) 1. Ch10. Sc in the 2nd chain from the hook and in each chain across. Ch1, turn. (9) 2 - 24*. Sc across. Ch1, turn. *Adjust the number of rows so that this Filler is the same number of rows as YOUR Small Squares. Edge: (3sc in the first corner, 7sc across the short end, 3sc in the corner, 19sc down the long side) twice. Join, FO, sew ends. Child Layout: 1 Adult Layout: 1 Baby Layout: 0
	..	Filler B (2 x 8 inches) 1. Ch6. Sc in the 2nd chain from the hook and in each chain across. Ch1, turn. (5) 2 - 24*. Sc across. Ch1, turn. *Adjust the number of rows so that this Filler is the same number of rows as YOUR Small Squares.
